LUCKY DUBE DIED FOR NIGERIA 9 YEARS AGO

9 years and 1 day ago, Lucky Dube was shot dead in South Africa for Nigeria's sake.

I am sure a lot of you are wondering how this could be true, I am sure alot of you would start wondering Lucky Dube? Nigeria? What is the correlation?
If you are still one of those asking this question, then you are not current. I was surprised to hear on the news that the panel of enquiry into the killing of Reggae superstar revealed that his killers (some South Africans) killed him because they thought he was Nigerian
Haba, why do they hate Nigerians so? Well a Yoruba saying goes thus ``Owo ara won ni won ma fi fun ara won logunje’’ which translates to ``whatever evil they plan for us will be directed towards them’’. I love Lucky Dube and it is sad he died like this but what is wrong with being a Nigerian so much that they wanna kill us?
After fighting to get them liberated. They still hate us so much? With all the money they make in Nigeria they still can’t stand us? Is it because we are flamboyant and love a good life? Is it because we are proud of our heritage and have a never say die, can do attitude? Is it because we love to take our enemies face on and don’t believe like Fela says ``Oyinbo no know pass me’’.
Wetin we do sef? We have contributed in no small way to the greatness of the world as we know it, Emeka Anyaoku, Ngozi Okojo-Iweala, Phillip Emegwali, Hakeem Olajuwon, Jayjay Okocha, Seal and so many too numerous to count. Yet the world continues to finger a few bad eggs and wants to finish a whole race because we cannot forsake our Nigeriansess.
To all non Nigerians reading this, i just want to say NOTHING YOU DO, CAN STOP US FROM BEING Natural, Intelligent, Great, Enterprising, Rearing to go, Internationally respected and above all absolutely created  for world dominance.
We might not have gotten to the promise land yet, but we will get there, it is not a question of YES WE CAN, In Nigeria IT IS YES WE WILL.
Lucky Dube, rest in peace, you died a hero’s death because you died as a Nigerian.
Methinks what other African Nations feel is not hatred but envy. Let them wait O! We have not achieved our potentials yet, when we do; bad belle go kill all of them. Nigerians arise and take your place in The SUN, stand up for greatness, stand up for world dominance, YES WE WILL.
